I just love this Medallion Stamp and I must say it has provided much inspiration over coming days, I have added a Vintage Vogue Stamped flower to the centre of the Medallion Stamp. The wonderful New IN colours we seen released in the Autumn Winter Mini Catalogue have created lots of excitement. This Pink colour is known as Melon Mambo and is Exclusive to Stampin Up. It has co-ordinating Ink and Polka Dot Ribbon that matches this wonderful Card stock.

Medallion Scrapbooking Page

I must first start with sending my most sincere apologies for not having a Feature Stamp of the week for the past 2 weeks. Life has been very busy and I am looking forward to the weekend when it may slow down a little. Fingers Crossed we will be back to normal next week.

One of the many things I have been busy with, in preperation for My MIL 60th Party in a week is a wonderful Scrapbook album featuring all her children and Gran children.

Using the Medallion Stamp inked in Rich Razzleberry and stamped onto Whisper White 12 x 12 Card stock I think this page is very striking while elegant enough for these wonderful formal photo's. I have placed some half diamonte's in the small dots around the medallion and will add a title before adding it to the Album. The Medallion stamp can be a little deceiving to the actual size. It is 12cm in diameter and on the same size block as the Large background stamps.

May is Scrap booking Month so what better time to drag out those photo's and share them with those you love in a wonderful Album.

We made a set of co-ordinating little note cards and all the Mum' went home with some lovely little gifts, including these very cute Draw Scent's using the Pillow Box Die.

Missing in Action

I must start by sending a HUGE apology to you all. I am sure you all thought I was missing in action, but in reality I just needed to clone myself. I have had a gastro bug go through all the family, my Mum here to visit for Zac's 1st Birthday and Mothers Day and some wonderful New workshops which required all my attention. So I promise from today all is back to normality, HAHA I know as normal as it gets.

I hope everyone enjoyed a Wonderful Mothers Day either with their Mum or as a Mum and I am sure you would have been spoilt. I hope so anyway.

I must be off so I can create some wonderful inspiration to share with you all tonight.

Flight of the Butterfly - Card

Its just wonderful to be able to teach some wonderful new techniques and the bold butterfly featured in Flight of the Butterfly is fantastic for the "Kissing" Technique. This wonderful technique involved inking a bold and decorative stamp in 2 different ink colours and bringing them together as 1, imprinting the decorative image onto the bold. For more information on this technique or a lesson on how to perfect this wonderful technique please do not hesitate to call me. you can see this technique on the butterfly as pictured on this card on the top left hand side. I have teamed this card with the beautiful Bella Rose Designer series paper.

Customer Creations- Water Colouring using Ink Refills

For all the ladies that came to the HOT OFF THE PRESS Release Party for the New Autumn Winter Mini Catalogue, I taught you how to use the ink refills to colour. I have had 2 very talented ladies share there creations with me and wanted to show you how changing the colours can really change the impact.

The Beautiful Blue rose was created by Pam using Tempting Turquoise and Green Galore. The Orchid Style Flowers are by Leanne and coloured using Summer Sun and pink Passion Ink Refills. A wonderful and Fun technique giving another use to something we have sitting in out "Stash".
