Chocolate Sleeve Teacher Xmas presents

Well I must first start by saying I know I have been very slack over recent weeks. I have suffered terribly with 5 weeks of varying infections totally killing all my immune system and preventing me from doing any more than the necessities. So before we wrap up the Year and the Christmas Season I thought I would pop in with a post or 2 Featuring some wonderful little gifts I made for all those wonderful people in my Children's Lives-Their Teachers. Many of you attended workshops where we made these wonderful Chocolate Sleeves for Fathers Day but these were so fun and quick to make with a little Embossing on the big shot and a Christmas stamp and they were finished.

World Card Making Day - Scrap Challenge

With World card making Day now come and gone I wanted to share some of the wonderful Cards, created by some of the lovely Ladies who attended.

I must say when I first announced there would be a "Scrap Challenge" Many of the faces turned to horror. But I am sure everyone will agree it was not at all stressful and definitely lots of Fun.

Given 1 Hour to make 2 standard sized Cards or 1 x 12x12 Page. Everyone was provided with Crumb Cake Cardstock as a Base. The only requirement for this Challenge was YOU MUST use some Scrap card/paper from my scrap box. This is a HUGE box filled with off cuts from when I cut Kits and work on my own projects.

It was a wonderful afternoon and Everyone went home making some fantastic Projects.

I celebrated with my Wonderful Newcastle Girls Christmas in July, just last night and we all had a wonderful time with lots of Lovely gifts, Projects and Fun with friends. I thought what a better project to share with you than the one my girls all made last night. A beautiful Card box with 6 co-ordinating cards Perfect to be given as a gift. Made with a variety of papers from the Holiday Treasure Designer Series Paper Pack and Stamped with Images from the Season of Joy Stamp Set they were beautifully gold embossed on the front the Folder was filled with 6 cards, 3 of 2 different designs. The Chocolate Chip coloured card was embellished with a Baja Breeze Top Note Die and embossed with Polka Dots embossing folder. The Kraft coloured cards featuring 2 beautiful Christmas tree's again from the Season of Joy stamp set is completed with a bow wrapping around the card and tying in the middle. Both wonderful cards to make when needing to make lots of cards for Christmas giving. Christmas in July

With Christmas in July being celebrated around the World I thought what better place to start than here. With my Biggest Night of the year Christmas in July being celebrated with wonderful Projects, Food and Prizes on the 23rd of July I didn't think you would mind a little Christmas cheer to get us all into the swing of making those wonderful festive cards. I will be participating in a Christmas in July Blog hop on the 24th of July, make sure you pop back to check it all out as I have lots of Wonderful Christmas cheer in store over the coming months.

I made this wonderful card using a technique I was shown by a very talented lady Faylene. By incorporating her own design into my design it really does add a distinct woven feature. The Christmas tree and backgtround swirls are from the Stamp Set Season of Joy.
