Designer Series Paper- Customer Creations

I am really loving all these wonderful cards you ladies have been sending me and it would be great to see lots more, If you are coming along to either of the NEW MINI PREVIEW EVENTS please bring a card or 2 or even a scrap booking page you have made using Stampin' Up Stamps, Paper or Ribbons. With your consent I will photograph them and share them with everyone. You ladies make some wonderful cards/pages and I love to see them.

These beautiful little cards were emailed in by the very talented Pam in QLD. They are a Notelet, Each card measure's 6 x 3". I am sure you will agree they are very cute. Each Card Features the wonderful Stampin Up DSP.

Designer Series Paper Sneek Peek

I am totally in love with this very cute little box. I have been having so much FUN with it and you can to, HINT HINT...

I have been again playing with the Crazy for Cupcakes Stamp Set and think this Tea Party Designer Series Paper (DSP) looks wonderful with these very cute little cakes. This little box is the perfect size to hold 2-3 x Pandora beads carefully wrapped in tissue paper. What a wonderful little gift Idea.

Crazy For Cupcakes and Designer Series Paper-New Feature

I am back again this week with a wonderful New Feature. This week I am going to Feature the Stampin Up Designer Series Paper (DSP). For the first few days in the week I have been having lots of Fun with this DSP and and the Crazy For Cupcakes Stamp Set. You will also see a couple of Sneek Peeks this week as we all get excited about whats coming up in the NEW MINI. IN the card I have Featured today the Top Piece of DSP opens out to appear to be an awning on a shop. This DSP is from the Tea Party Collection on Page 133 of the Main Catalogue. Each little cupcake has been finished off with dazzling Diamonds, they really are good enough to eat...

Easter Treat Sneek Peek

Just for you another little sneek peek... Of whats to come very soon. I am so excited about all the wonderful NEW products Stampin' Up! has in store for us all come the 1st of April.
I have made this very cute little pillow box and wheeled him in my favourite wheel Egg Hunt. Pop 4 little eggs inside and you have a Very cute little Gift.

A Good Egg- Quick Easter cards

I often need to have a mass production session and make a large number of cards that look lovely but are quick to make. I love these cards and think there great for kids to help out with to. I made approx 50 of these last year to send to family, friends and customers. I changed the colour of the card and ribbon to add a little variety but still a quick and nice card to make. Watch tomorrow for a Sneek peak of whats to come......

A Good Egg - Easter Card

Well I have been neglecting all thing domestic this week to give you lots of wonderful Easter Idea's to get you ready for the Chocolate season... I love the wonderful Easter Egg in this set. You will be surprised how many people ask you how did you get that Egg so perfect. "Tell them, Shhhhhh it's a secret.....". I also pulled out my Favourite tool and used my crimper along the bottom. I tend to forget to use girlie things like, Diamante Brads and buttons, with all the boys in my life it seems to not be a happening thing. But I promise you will start to see more of these very cute little embellishments to my cards and pages. I have used the Scallop oval Punch on this card. This punch is not pictured in the Main catalogue but is available for $30.95.

A big Thank you to Kristy for sending this page she completed at a Easter Scrap booking workshop. Kristy has 2 girls (and a very cute little boy) so changed the page to make it more girlie... I love the way you can take 1 scrap booking layout and change things to just suit your needs.

A Good Egg- Scrapbooking Page

I had a play with this wonderful Set while Scrapbooking My Easter Photo's from last Year. Harry thought all the Chocolate was wonderful. I have put a little peep hole, in one of the Eggs and behind the circle is a little chicken in it's egg. This set co-ordinates with the Egg Hunt Standard Wheel, which I have wheeled along the top of the page. Check back tomorrow as Kristy has made the same page with a Girly version of it. It looks lovely and Very Cute.

A Good Egg - With Crimper.

I love this little chicken and thought I would team him up with this very cute Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper. I received the Crimper for my Birthday and have been having lots of with it, I have used it to crimp the white strip across the middle of the card to add some texture and depth to the card. I punched the chicken out with the 13/8" Punch and then placed him on a scallop circle Punch.

A Good Egg - New Feature Card Just in Time for Easter

I am back again this week with a Brand New Feature Stamp Set and some wonderful projects to inspire you so dust off those Stamps and ink them all up. Easter Holiday Kids Workshops-BOOK NOW

I have set the dates for my Easter Holidays Kids workshops. APRIL 7TH(Wednesday) AND 16TH(Friday) -10am-12pm. Each session will be $7.50 per child and we will make different projects at each class.
Easter Holidays will be here before we know it and I will be running 2 x kids classes, Places will be strictly limited to 6 Children, so each child can receive the time and attention required. We will be making 2 very exciting projects at each session and Morning tea will be provided. Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult, Classes are designed for children 8 years+ but please contact me for further information. Everything will be provided.

Fifth Ave Floral - Hostess Treat

I thought I would try the wonderful Rose from Fifth Ave Floral in Blue tones when water colouring today and it is just lovely. You really can't go wrong when water colouring these roses as there really is no right or wrong colour for a rose. Using Bashful Blue and Pacific Point Ink refill I coloured this rose using the same technique as my posting 2 days ago (fool proof water colouring). Now you might just be sitting there thinking what on earth has she attached that Rose to, Well it's a secret.....I can tell you this...It will be a Hostess gift for a very lucky Host on Saturday and I can tell you it is filled with Samples of Blue Ribbons.Now you just need to wait 1 more week and I might just have a sneek peek of something/s New on my Blog. Fifth Ave Floral - Scrapbooking Page

I have been waiting so long to play with this wonderful Bella Rose Designer Series paper and thought I would add these beautiful roses with it. The fifth Ave floral stamp set looks wonderful with all your Wedding, Romance and Girly pages. I have added some of the little crochet flowers from page 14 of the Summer mini to this page and added a little colour to them using the Rose Red Re-Inkers. The roses have been popped up 4 levels using Foam dimensionals and unfortunately the Real Red Grosgrain ribbon on the left of the page has blended into the photo, but you can see I have added a clear Rhinestone Brad at each end of the ribbon and also in the middle of the crochet flowers.

Fifth Ave Floral-Water Colour with Ink Refill

OK, Pam your wonderful Rose on the beautiful card I posted yesterday has finally made me try this fantastic technique out myself. Its the most fool proof way of watercolouring ever known. (You can not go wrong).

*Firstly using the Stampin Up Water Colour Paper Emboss the Rose in White embossing powder.

*Spray with a mist of water until small pools of water form onto the top of the paper.

*Place 2-3 drops of your chosen colour ink refill into a plastic lid. (I have usd Pretty in Pink Refill for this Rose)

*Then using your Aqua Painter pickup small amounts of colour from the Ink refill droplets on your lid and spread gently along your rose petals. As the ink on the Aqua painter hits the water it will appear to run.

*Add more ink to your rose until you reach the desired affect.

*The completed Rose will take approx. 30 minutes to dry enough to safely cut out.

I hope you enjoy this beautiful Rose and wonderful technique and would love to hold a workshop to teach you and your friends how to perfect this wonderul Fool proof Watercolouring.

I have been sent this wonderful card by the very talented Pam in Qld, to use in our Feature Set of the week. Using the Fifth Ave Floral and Sweet treat cups (available in the Summer mini) this makes a beautiful Mothers Day card. You get a card and treat all in one. And after all who doesn't love to get a little treat you can eat.

Fifth Ave Floral - 3-D Card

I have been experimenting with the old Paper-tole technique wih this beautiful rose and think it looks great. Each section of the rose I have cut out has been raised on Dimensional foam dots giving a wonderful raised look. Watch as tomorrow I have a wonderufl card to show you sent in by a very talented Customer of mine.

Fifth Ave Floral- New Feature Card

I just love this set and I know many of you have purchased it so thought it's time to drag it out and have a go. For anyone with this set I would love to see your Samples. Fifth Ave Floral can be found on page 82 of the main catalogue priced at $45.95; this set makes beautiful Mothers day cards and lovely scrap booking pages. Watch for some wonderful idea's and inspiration this week.

I have made the flower pot and attached to the card front. I used all the flowers from the Fifth ave Floral Stamp Set and coloured them using water colour crayons. The pot it's self has been sponged with Close to cocoa ink and the wonderful Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon looks beautiful around the top of the pot. Although difficult to see from the photo I have placed Dazzling Diamond Glitter in the centre of the flowers.
