Sneak Peek- Sale a Bration 2012

Apologies this photo is not very straight.

 Its rapidly approaching our all time favourite part of the year. Sale a Bration. Running from Mid January through to end March, there is so much on offer I just couldn't wait any longer to share it with you. I made this lovely card for someone special just to Thank them for all the wonderful things they do.

A Cute little Elebration

I just love this very cute little Elebration Stamp. So cute for the special little people in your life.

Lemon and Passion fruit Slice

This is the most simple, Easy to make and Yummy Slice Ever.

Lemon and Passion Fruit Slice:

Preheat oven to 180 degree's C

Ingredients:

BASE:

1 C SR Flour

1 C Coconut

1/2 C Caster Sugar

125g Melted Butter

Mix all BASE ingredients and spread over a lined small slice tin or square cake tin (I use baking paper). Pressing down firmly. Place in oven for approx 10 minutes while preparing topping mixture.

TOPPING:

1 Can Condensed Milk
2 Lemons Juiced
1 x Passion Fruit Pulp

Mix all TOPPING ingredients with a small whisk or spatula until they are creamy in appearance. Remove base from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes then pour topping over base and return to oven for another 5-10 minutes until set.

PLEASE be guided by your own OVEN. If your oven is Hotter than others you will only need it to set for a few minutes, if you have a slower oven like mine it takes about 9-10 minutes.

Allow to cool and cut into squares. Refrigerate to store. Enjoy.

Hershey's Kisses Cookies

As promised over the coming days I will have lots of New recipes to post for you to share with your family over this festive season.

As many of you will know Hersheys Kisses and Nuggets have become my new best friends so what do you do with them when you buy them buy the kilo...Cook with them...lol

Hershey's Kisses Cookies

Makes approx 48

Ingredients:

48 Hershey's Kisses or I think Easter Eggs would be a cute alternative.

3/4 C White Sugar

3/4 C Brown sugar lightly packed
100g Butter softened
2 TBS Milk
1/2 Tsp Salt

1/3 C Hershey's Cocoa (A good cocoa if Hershey's is unavailable)

2 Eggs

2 1/4 C SR Flour

Directions

1. Remove wrappers from chocolate pieces. Heat oven to 180 degree C.

2. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar in large bowl until well blended. Add eggs and milk; beat well.

3. Stir together flour, cocoa and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place baking paper lined tray.

4. Bake 10 to 11 minutes or until set. Gently press chocolate piece in center of each cookie; remove from tray to wire rack. Cool completely.

5. ENJOY.. They are yummy and very addictive.

Newcastle Christmas Party and Summer Mini Release.

WOW!!! What a HUGE day was had at the Newcastle Christmas Party today. Yes the surprise was revealed..A Christmas Candy Buffet. Thank You to ALL of my wonderful customers and friends for thier support during 2011, it was a tough year and without you I really could not have got through it.. A very Exciting Ronald Mc Donald House Fundraiser-Card Buffet

The Ronald Mc Donald House Christmas Card Buffet held on Friday was a HUGE success with hundreds of Dollars being Raised. THANK YOU to everyone who attended and made this day a HUGE success with a special THANK YOU to Faylene and Jodie for there help during the Day and Night Sessions. A Big Thank you to Marie from Home Interiors for her amazing donation of Linen and Christmas Gifts.

Case from Catty- I (heart) Hearts

I rarely take a card from the catalogue and copy it for use at a workshop but when a lovely customer of mine chose a card she had seen in the catalogue and wanted to make it at her workshop I was excited to think Stampin Up had done all the work for me. I must admit it was lots of fun and although I did need to change the paper and designer series paper to what I had I am very pleased how this card came up.

Up Up and Away Masking

When I first seen this card  knew it would be the perfect card to teach the masked cloud technique. Its lots of Fun and looks fabulous with the Up Up and Away balloons.
