Summer Mini Blog Hop

Jacob Turns 10.

How does time fly, I feels like only yesterday Jacob was as little as Zac and now this week he celebrates his 10th Birthday. Jacob made these fantastic Birthday invitations(with a little help from mummy) and what a great job he did, considering in total he made 20. We used the Circle Scallop punch to create the "bite", and the Tart and Tangy stamp Set was stamped all over the card stock.

SNEAK PEEK OF WHATS TO COME........

Ladies a Final reminder for anyone that requires items from the SPRING MINI. It has only 1 week to go. And I am sure many will agree that it will be very sad to see it go. Especially that oval scallop punch.

But don't be sad for LONG the SUMMER MINI is due for release on the 1st of DECEMBER and boy will it be good. Over the next few days watch closely for some great sneek peeks of whats to come.

QLD Christmas Get-Together 2009

A fantastic Weekend was had by all our lovely ladies in QLD. We came together for a fabulous afternoon at Mt Tamborine, and after some initial obstacles to over come; Everyone had a Great Afternoon. LOTS of Prizes and Gifts were given away with an Extra Special Gift Given to Ludmilla Horsley for her amazing contribution of nearly 1000 cards beautifully made and donated to Community Care at Mt Tamborine and Ronald Mc Donald House. Ludmilla was Presented with a HUGE Jar of Beautiful Ribbons kindly donated by Leanne Scarfe(Newcastle). Ludmilla was also VERY privillaged to go home with the VERY exclusive Cirlce Scissor Plus and Glass Mat. These are a very new item to Stampin Up and are not being Released until the 1st of December. Watch for more info.

Loads of Yummy food was shared and Lots of Stamping, Punching, Scrapping and Chatting was done.

P.S Baby Zac's tooth cut through while driving home on Monday, you could say he was not a very happy baby...

2010 Stamping & Scrapbooking Retreat

QLD Retreat 2010- You Do NOT want to miss this all of you from North to South...PLACES FILLING FAST

It may seem like a long way away but it will be here before we know it...

The long awaited Stamping/Scrapping Retreat Information has finally been finalised. Escape the Children, Husbands, dogs, cats and domestic duties for a complete weekend of FUN, FOOD, and Stamping/Scrap booking. I have decided to go ahead with a Mt Tamborine retreat for our first one as this is close to everyone and with taking in everyone's family and work commitments thought this was a great chance for us all to get away with out the long travelling.(Except for those NSW girls coming). I will be bringing, Loads or Stamp Sets, Products and exciting treats and goodies for everyone. We do need a minimum number to make it affordable for everyone so Please Tell your friends, Family or anyone that maybe interested. Bring along a group for a discount and Lets make this the best weekend EVER. Until next time!
Below outlines the details to date but I must stress I am taking Bookings and Deposits and all the information below needs to be read carefully for important details.

Where: Mount Tamborine Community Conference Centre (TMCCC)
When: 20th-22nd August 2010 Arrive Friday Afternoon-Sunday after Lunch
Cost:$200

This will include:- All meals from Friday dinner- Sunday Lunch including M/Tea & A/Tea, Tea/Coffee & cold drinks, Accommodation in motel style accommodation with ensuite and single beds, Prizes, Gifts and Exclusive Retreat Goodies. Make and Take Projects, Exclusive invitation to the Retirement list Party for the 2009-2010 Catalogue on Friday Night. You will receive a BRAND NEW NEVER BEFORE SEEN 2010-2011 Stampin Up Catalogue.
What to bring: Your own projects to work on throughout the weekend, Comfy clothes to sit around in and get LOTS of scrap booking or Card making done with me at your disposal for Help and assistants.
Payment can be made via an Instalment plan spread out across 2009-July 2010.

Tree Trimmings Scrapbook Page

So often we forget, we can use all our Stamps and accessories on our Scrapbooking pages as well. This Page is a page for an upcoming workshop I have but is just a larger version of the Ronald McDonald House charity card previously posted here. Tree Trimmings and the Designer Series Paper "Ski Slope" used in this Layout will Retire on the 30th of November. This photo does not do this page justice but gives you an idea of what can be achieved.

Choo Choo Card

This card has been made using the Choo Choo Stamp Set and Wheel Right on Track from the Spring Mini (Ends 30th November). If you get stuck for Idea's and would like to request a card sample be posted, Please just ask. I have LOTS of the current Sets in both the Mini and 2009-2010 Catalogue and would love to be able to offer you idea's for a set you either have or maybe thinking of getting. This is a very easy card: Stamp the Train and Carriages onto white or vanilla in bright coloured INK and cut out, Tear a peice of Designer Series Printed paper to form a mountain and adhere to card stock, I have used a A5 peice of Old Olive Card bone folded in half. I have placed a peice of string along the back of the engine and carriages to make it appear to be pulling along. Using 3-D foam mounts attach each carriage to the card. Place puffs of smoke coming from the Engine using White Craft INK pad.

Ribbon Share/club is on again and places have filled FAST, I only have 2 places available for this share, Each participant will receive 1.75 metre's of each of the 6 Incolour Striped grosgrain Ribbon's as pictured on page 150 of the 2009-2010 catalogue. That is a total of 10.5 mtr's for only $17.00 including postage and handling.

Warners Bay Girl Guides Fundraiser

Our Local Girl Guides had a wonderful Fundraising Event here on the weekend with lots of different business people invited to display and sell products. Mum and I sold lots of cards and met with some very lovely ladies who were very interested in joining us to make cards and join in on our classes. It was a very busy day and Thank You to all the clever Mummies and Aunties who made very yummy cakes for the stall.

Large Tag Punch Card

I have been very busy making LOTS of cards for the Girl Guides Fundraising Event I have been invited to. This Card is one I thought looks so cute and uses the Large Tag Punch which I know many of you have already purchased. The Christmas Crackers were made by punching out 4 Large tags (I have used SKI Slope Designer Series Paper) and placing a set of holes in the ends of each using the Double slot punch. This allows you to thread the Ribbon through and hold the 2 tags together. Cut some zig zags onto your inside tags. Using the Swirls from Season of Joy place some swirls and little silver flowers in the middle of the card at the top and this gives your Burst open effect. The greeting Merry Christmas is also from the Season of Joy Set. Place some foam Dimmensionals on the back of your Tag crackers and attach to your card.

D Is for Dog

Well it seems like forever since I last got to put some New and Exciting Cards onto my Blog. School Holidays in NSW are nearly over, and this Mummy will be very happy when Monday comes.

Mum brought the D is for Dog Stamp Set and co-ordinating Wheel, P is for Paw. I have been busy creating some New card Samples. I think C is for Cat will be in my next order, I love these little sets.

Ronald McDonald House Charity Card Pack

If you are unable to make it along to 1 of the 2 Charity Card making events but would still love to help support the Ronald Mc Donald House Charity Fundraising then you can by simply purchasing a RMH Charity Card Pack. The picture to the LEFT is the Card already made you will receive as kits.

It contains everything you need to make/put together 6 Christmas Cards. All cardstock and Printed paper items are pre-cut and stamped all you need to do is cut out the baubles and tape together.

The only items you need to provide are Double sided tape and a pair of scissor's.

The cost of the pack is $12 including P/H with $4.00 from every pack being donated to the RMH Charity Fund to buy items of need from thier Wishlist. You may order as many Packs as you like but all orders must be received and paid for prior to the 31/10/09.

Payment can be made as Cash, Bank deposit, Cheque or Credit card.

A Wish for Peace Idea's and Inspiration...

I have been very busy making card for an upcoming Girl Guides Charity Funraising Event. These cards are all made using the A Wish for Peace Stamp Set, Soft Holly Wheel, I have embossed the stamp in Gold and Also white and added Kraft Taffetta Ribbon to 2 of the cards. The cards are all made on Kraft Card Stock ( I love this colour it goes with everything).
