June Challenge - Customer Entries

I was so excited to see this Card and just how everyone can individually adapt the challenge to their own Style. Stepper cards are a style I tend to do very little of but this is wonderful. The Stamp Sets used include Extreme Elements and Extreme Pirates (You wouldn't want to miss out on this Forever) ;)

It was a long weekend here in NSW Australia and what a VERY productive weekend I have had. I am LOVING the Blossom Party Bigshot Die. And this weekend have created both scrap pages and cards just to show you how lovely it it.

I have embossed the petals of the die with the Vintage wall paper to add some texture. I have used the Lap of Luxury DSP.

Beveled WindowPanes

Available in the Current Autumn Winter mini these little Beveled WindowPanes are very cute. I Promise to get busy and show you lots of very cute samples you can use them for.

I have partnered them together with the NEW Nature Walk Stamp set. And some beautiful Old Olive Satin Ribbon.

NEW 2011-2012 INCOLOURS

Every Year Stampin Up gives us 5 Beautiful New incolours starting in September every year. So How excited was I to see this Sneek Peek of the Wonderful NEW Incolours starting in September. (I know its a long time to wait)..

 I can tell you there will be some very Exciting Accessories to match these very yummy colours. I would love to read your thoughts on the New Colours so leave a comment below.

Card Buffet Thank you

 WOW!! Thanks girls for another amazing Card buffet. It is always wonderful to be able to put on such a Big event and see the joy in everyone once they have created their cards. This Card Buffet we created Kids cards and there was a great range of Boys and Girls Cards. The Next Card Buffet will be in September with Male cards and this will co-ordinate with the MASSIVE release of the Brand New 2011-2012 Stampin Up Catalogue. Just Believe-Embossed

I recently received the Just believe Stamp set and I Love it. Its so nice to have something New to play with. I have used the Enfrancais Back ground with this set and Gold Heat embossed the Flowers.

Shimmer Paint Mist RECIPE

As promised I am posting the "Recipe" for the Shimmer Mist/Spray. Many of you have seen this used or used it your selves in workshops. Don't worry you will not have to remember this recipe or write it down some where "safe" it will always be here on my blog under recipes.
So this is what you will need:

Ingredients..

1 x Bottle of Stampin Up Shimmer Paint (Champagne Mist is my Favourite) Please contact me if you would like to order Shimmer Paint.

1 x Bottle of Isocol/Rubbing Alcohol (Available in Super Markets and Chemists)

1 x Mini Mister or alternate Mini spray bottle. (Recipe is made to measure for a Mini Mister Bottle)

1 x 5 ml Syringe you can purchase in Chemist for about 40c

To Make:

Remove lid from Mini Mister

Using syringe measure 5ml of Isocol into your Mini Mister Bottle.

Using the same syringe add 1ml of Shimmer Paint to Mini Mister bottle.

Place lid back on Mini Mister and DO NOT SHAKE.. Rub the mini mister between your hands backwards and forwards as if you were just rubbing your hands together. (If you shake the Shimmer Mist you end up with LOTS of frothy Mist and it will not give you a nice look, very bubbly).

Once the shimmer Paint and Isocol have combined you are ready to use..

ENJOY!!

Fox and Friends-Cheeky Monkey

I had to make 1 very special little girl a Birthday card and how could I resist this very Cheeky Monkey Card using the little Monkey from Fox and Friends. I have used the Rock and Roll technique where you INK the stamp in a pale colour(Pretty In Pink) and the roll the stamp in a clock wise motion on a darker coloured ink(Melon Mambo) The Birthday greeting is from "Bring on the Cake". Happy Birthday Summer hope you have a wonderful Day..xx

JUNE CHALLENGE-Scrapbooking Sneek Peek

June Challenge Fathers Day

Yes I know its a scary thought that I would be making Fathers Day Cards already BUT!! I had this card in progress, while I was working on Idea's for the Upcoming Retirement Party and I thought what a brilliant and simple idea to showcase this months Sketch challenge. I know many of you will be new to sketch challenges but you are able to interpret them how ever you please. You will notice over coming days and weeks you will see lots of creations using this sketch and I can not wait to see yours.

JUNE CHALLENGE

For this month we are going to trial a Sketch challenge, this is where you will be provided a sketch and you can create your CARD or PAGE using the Sketch as a Guide. I will also place my samples to help you out along the way. All you need to do is email me a picture or tag me on your Face book photo. A Winner will be chosen at random, this is NOT a competition about who can do the best. Its about having FUN and using some of those wonderful goodies you have "Stashed" in the cupboard. Ok Girls Lets get creating!! PLEASE NOTE: The code SC332 is only a sketch number.

Card Buffet -10th June

Card Buffet is on this Friday Day and Night Session- The theme this time is Kids cards with cards for Boys and Girls. RSVP is not essential but preferred to ensure plenty of kits are cut and Morning Tea/Supper is provided for everyone attending.

Extreme Elements Birthday wishes.

Heat Embossing is lots of fun and adds a real WOW to any card. Lots of my lovely ladies have requested to learn the Heat embossing technique. So you are going to see lots of Embossed card over coming weeks. I have used Extreme Elements with the Surfer from Seaworthy embossed with white embossing powder.

I have just heard the terribly sad new's that my good friend Pam in QLD was rushed to hospital with Aappendicitis. I have made her this beautiful get well card. I am hoping it finds you home from hospital safe and well Pam.xx
