Happy Birthday Sale-a-Bration

Cake would have to be every girls best friend, especially on her birthday. So I made this card for my little Boys, Child Carers, Daughter on her 13th Birthday. I have used the Square Lattice Embossing folder for the bottom of the card and used some pretty Velvet trim I had in my stash of use it up Ribbons. The greeting is from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Punch Bunch. Don't forget SAB has Now started and you can FREE stamp Sets for Every $100 you spend. The cute little cakes have been coloured in using Stampin write markers.

Getwell Card

I had so much fun making this card for my Poor Brother who was taken to Hospital with a Massive Leg Infection. I must Send a HUGE Thank You to the Wonderful Nadine for sending me a Parcel with some very exciting products in it.. Yes you guessed it the Cogs Punch Exclusive to the US is all mine.. Fingers crossed we will see this in our 2011-2012 Catalogue. But I am going to have Fun playing with it till then. I have used the Newsprint Designer Series Paper on the back ground and scrunched it before attaching to the card front. The greeting "Get well Wishes is from the Stamp Set Teeny Tiny Sentiments.

Ice Cream Fun

I just couldn't resist sharing this card with you any longer and what better time to make it than on a Very Hot Day. The Kids attending the Kids class on Friday will be making this card and I am sure they are all going to love choosing the colour of their "Ice Cream Scoops". I have used the little Itty Bitty Punch and Button on the top scoop of Ice cream. The greeting used on this card is from Sincere Salutations, this is a wonderful set as nearly all the words will fit inside the Large oval Punch.

Inspired by Nature-Birthday Card

I am definitely a little obsessed with these very cute butterflies from the Beautiful wings Emboss lit Die. Now using the scraps is always a good way to make a card and these are some of the little butterflies left from the cards I made earlier in the week. I have added the Sweet Treat Cup and using the handle from the Sweet Centres Stamp Set I have made a very cute little magnifier glass. This is a special little card for a special friend of Jacob's who will be turning 4 very soon. Inspired by Nature has definitely been a favourite that just seems to go with everything.

Lots of Scrapbooking pages to share

I was very lucky today to get lots of scrap booking done, I have a rather LARGE back log of photos to try and get scrapped before my little boys get any bigger...

*I started the day with this very cute double page of my baby Zac, I am a bit obsessed with photos and these 4 ups (available when printing from a kiosk like Kmart/Harvey Normans) make such great pages as you can add lots.. A very simple layout as the page is very busy with so many little photo's. Colours used include Pacific Point and Basic Black. The big shot has been used to Polka Dot emboss the circle in the back ground and the the edges of the black have been distressed with a distresser.

*This was my favourite page today(apologies the photo really isn't the best, I am yet to have a photo editing program installed on my laptop), Harry just makes up into the cutest pages and how can you resist that muddy face. Colours used include Tangerine Tango, Early Espresso, some retired Close to Cocoa Designer Series Paper. I have sponged around the edge of the DSP and the outside of the 12 x 12. Each Photo was mounted onto Espresso with a little tab of retired Tangerine Tango Ribbon on each little photo(again using 4 ups). The letters to form "Muddy Fun" have been die cut using the Big shot and the type set Jr alphabet Die set.

*My last page for the day has a little flip out book, this is wonderful when you have lots of photos but don't want to be scrapping pages and pages of the same subject. Colours used include Green Galore, Pacific Point and Summer Sun. Pacific Point Ribbon has been used to embellish the page.

I also squeezed in a card or 2 today so I will be back to post these tomorrow. I really hope all this inspiration doesn't run out in a hurry.

Kids Holiday Class-28th January

I will be holding a Kids School Holiday Class this Friday 28th of January. These are 2 of the very cute projects we will be making with the 3rd Project a surprise for on the Day. Although this class is recommended for Children 8yrs + your younger children are welcome to attend as long as you are willing to stay and assist them.

Emboss Inlay-Valentines Card

When I first seen this fantastic technique of Emboss Inlay all I could think of was, what a fantastic way to use all those scraps of cardstock and wow do I have alot of scrap.. The Bigshot really does become your best friend with this card.

The Pink Tag has been die cut using the bigshot, The greeting has been used from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments.

Elegant Lines Embossing Folder

This week I decided I must have a play with my brand New Elegant Lines Embossing Folder. It is just sooo beautiful and makes the most Elegant cards. I have made 3 Lovely cards and its just amazing how you can add an Embossed piece of card stock and some Beautiful Wings butterflies and your card is made.

Card #1: A very vintage looking card, Champagne Shimmer Paint has been added to the Butterflies. Colours used in this card are Crumb Cake, Certainly Celery and Blushing Bride. I have added sticky Pearls to the centre of the Butterflies.

Card #2: A very Bright card but so lovely to "play" with the New In colour Concord Crush, available in INK, Card stock, and Ribbon. I have used the NEW white paper Flowers, inking the petals in Concord Crush Ink. These have also had Champagne Shimmer Paint added to the flowers. A very shimmery look to these lovely flowers. The Greeting on the card is from the Stamp Set Well Scripted as featured in the Summer Mini Catalogue.

Card #3: When I made my First card using the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, I just new this would make the most Beautiful Wedding or Engagement Card. Colours used in this card are Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla, I have added Champagne Shimmer Mist to the Very vanilla butterflies and some sticky pearls to the butterflies bodies. A very shimmery elegant car that I can not wait to make more of. The greeting on this card is also from the Well Scripted as featured in the Summer Mini.

Builder Wheel FUN

The Builder Wheels were released in the Summer Mini and are so much Fun. I have had mine sitting safely away waiting for me to play with them, and today was the day. A skinny sized wheel that can be clipped into the Jumbo Wheel Handle and using the Spacer spindle you can wheel 1, 2 or 3 wheels at any time. To make this card I have wheeled 1 builder wheel at a time, placing the spacer on the spindle to hold the wheel in place. Inking each wheel up on an Ink Pad. The colours used in this card is Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi.

Pizza Box Thank You Gift

I am a little Pizza box excited at the moment, so you are going to see lots over coming weeks as I find a variety of different uses for them. I made this wonderful little Pizza box in Cherry Cobbler cardstock and co-ordinating Holly Jolly Designer Series Paper, for a wonderful Hostess. Filled with 4 Lindt Chocolate's how could you resist this little gift box, I have placed a little bit of tissue paper in the bottom to stop the chocolates rolling around..

Beautiful Wings Lolly Tubes

I made these as a very special little gift for some wonderful attendees at a recent workshop. So quick to make and very cute for both children and Adult Party treats. The beautiful wings embosslit, is just so cute and very quick to use in the Big shot. This Die will cut and Emboss the butterflies at the same time.

I am loving this little owl from the Punch Bunch Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set, he is just so cute, this card is so quick and easy to transform into a lovely little Valentines day card by adding these very little hearts and a Valentines greeting. Sale-A-Bration 2011 Sneak Peek... Punch Bunch

Although I am on the count down to all my little monkeys going back to School, I really am enjoying not having to do 6 Pickups and drop offs a day. The Sale-a-Bration Sneak Peeks are looking exciting and teamed up with the wonderful Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper, makes for beautiful, but very quick and simple cards.

Pendant Park- Valentines Day Card

When Stampin Up released there December Frenzy brochure in December 2010, I just had to re-think my thoughts of not "needing" any more Stamp sets... Well I didn't need them but how can you leave a bargain like 50% off stamp sets alone. Pendant Park was reduced by 50% and it really is a wonderful set. With valentines day just around the corner I thought this wonderful tree would look just wonderful with a cute little Itty Bitty button set to one side. A beautiful card for any special man. The Colours used in this card are Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Very Vanilla.

A Unique card for someone Special

When my husband asked me to make a card for his Boss who will be turning 40 I knew just the card for him. They work in the transport industry and I am quite sure they spend more time sitting around giving each other hell than actually loading trucks and working. I have used some Non-SU papers and ribbon/trim on this card but it really needed these little extra touches. The front of the card is the Bra and the back of the card is the panties. I will be holding a class for this fantastic little card later in the Year in co-ordination with the Girls Night in Fundraisers.

Fox and Friends-Kids Card

Fox and Friends has been very popular since its release as a wonderful little set available in Clear and Wood Mount. Fantastic for both cards and Scrap booking pages. This cute little card has been made using several of the Brights collections and using the Greenhouse Gala collection Designer Series Paper. The "Birthday Wishes" Greeting is from the Sincere Salutations stamp Set.

Lots of Bots-Kids Card

It seems like such a long time since I made a cute little boys card. And just couldn't resist playing with this very cute little set Lots of Bots. The scalloped circle has been die cut using the Scallop Circle Die in the Bigshot. The colours used in this card are Baja Breeze, Pacific Point and Very Vanilla. The little Robot has been coloured in using Markers.

All A Flutter Pizza Box

I Have had lots of Fun with these very cute little Pizza boxes. They make wonderful little gift boxes for Birthdays and all those very special occasions.

The white paper flowers, NEW to the Stampin Up Catalogue in September come in a variety of sizes and are just wonderful that you can ink to co-ordinate with any project. These flowers have been inked with Rich Razzleberry Ink. I have used the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder on the scalloped envelope to place the little gift card in, which has been attached to the gift box. They will be featured in an Upcoming Class very soon.

Sale-A-Bration 2011 Sneak Peek... Punch Bunch

I have had so much fun playing with these wonderful Sale-A-Bration sets. With the wonderful Owl Punch released in the September 2010 Catalogue, I was so excited to see an Owl Stamp to Match. As you will see over coming days as I have lots more time to play, this owl punch and stamp set are so universal for both Male and Female cards and even wonderful for Kids. The Birthday Greeting on this card is also from the Sale-A-Bration Stamp Sets available.

Sweetheart -Love You much Card

I am sure we can all agree the best bit about playing with these sweet treat cups is that we get to test out the treats where filling the cups with before we seal them up. The greeting on the card "Love You Much" Is from the Stamp Set Well Scripted featured in the Summer Mini. I must say the very cute Pinking Hearts Border Punch featured on the bottom of the card also found in the Summer Mini Catalogue is just so dainty and very girlie.

Upsy Daisy - Thank You

With Christmas and New Year all behind us for another Year it is time to catch up on some of those Must Do Jobs.. I Love to send a Thank You card to all those Special People who have given my Children some Wonderful Gifts at Christmas and so I needed a card that was Fun to make but quick and simple to mass produce for both men and women.
I have not had alot of time to play with all the New colours since they were released in September and Now is a perfect opportunity. With Upsy Daisy Stamp Set in Hand and Daffodil Delight Ink this card was just so quick to make and lots of Fun with all those little butterflies so quickly Embossed and Cut at the same time using the Big shot and the Beautiful Wings Embosslit. I have just placed a little glue from the 2 way Glue pen on the back of the butterflies body. And then raised there wings as pictured to give the impression they are flying.
