I'm Back after a very long absence...

I have to send to you all a very sincere apology for the lack in postings of late. I went away to QLD for the Mt Tamborine Retreat of which we all had a WONDERFUL time. I met some wonderful New ladies and we all ate, scrapped and stamped more than we could have imagined possible. A fantastic weekend was had by all and I am working on setting a date for next year.

After a minor mechanical issue on Monday I was all set to come home on Tuesday but a phone call in the middle of the night confirmed my Father-in-law had passed away after a long battle with cancer and Alzheimer's. I was a long way from home and had a very distraught husband and children. I have spent the week since arriving home Tuesday co-ordinating funeral arrangements and caring for my family. Over coming weeks you may notice fewer posts and less planned classes and Events.
I do apologise for this and look forward to getting back into it all with you very soon. We have a brand New catalogue being Released this Wednesday and I can not wait to share with you all the excitement and fantastic New products.

Sneek Peak-Baby Bundle

Another Beautiful Baby Card in celebration of our week of all things baby.. I made this beautiful baby Girl Baby Shower card for the wonderful Bianca. We all had a wonderful time at her Baby shower on Saturday and lots of beautiful gifts were received.

Artisitc Etchings-Sneak Peek

It seems to be all about babies lately, with Baby showers every weekend for weeks and New little ones arriving soon. I thought I would share this little sneak peek with you. Featuring the Vintage wallpaper Embossing Folder (New for the Big shot) and the Words from Occasional Quotes a level 3 Hostess Set I just think it came together beautifully. What little prince wouldn't deserve to receive this card.

I promised some Sneak Peeks and this week I will be bringing lots to tempt you... We are all getting very excited about New Stamps to Play with and Ink to get us Inky... Artistic Etchings is a Fabulous New set with a million possibilities..

To link in with our Celebration of all things male I think this card would make a wonderful Card for a Man. Using some familiar colours like Always Artichoke and Soft Suede and a Returning colour River Rock. This card features the medallion stamp from the Artistic Etchings Stamp Set.

Fathers Day-Retirement Fun.

A Fantastic night was had by all at the Retirement List Party last night. We made this Fantastic Chocolate block Sleeve fantastic for Dad's Special Day. Using the greeting from Occasional greetings "Happy Fathers Day". And the Classic Star Jumbo Wheel to make a quick gift for any occasion.

Vintage Vogue-Scrapbooking Page

I can tell you, that Vintage Vogue Stamp Set is staying with us for at least another year. It will be returning to the Brand New 2010-2011 Stampin Up catalogue. I have been having lots of fun using Vintage Vogue on all my projects and even though Flowers are not pre-dominantly used on Boys pages they often give it a subtle fresh look.
