I was asked to simply decorate the photo for a special friend of my MIL but when I seen all these beautiful flowers and this lovely 12 x 12 frame I new I had to perfect combination. The lady was mourning the anniversary of her husbands passing on Friday and I had this all ready to be given to her on Friday afternoon. I hope it helped to bring a smile to her face on a sad day.

I can't believe I am up to my 3rd packet of Hot Cross Buns and Easter Eggs are filling the shelves in the shops. So I thought I would share this very cute card I made. Sometimes its nice to send a little gift in the card you make so I made this super cute little Book mark to co-ordinate with the Card. It slides into the pocket in the front of the card. I had so much fun collecting the photos for this page although I am sure Robbo didn't think 2 barb wire fences and and a Bull that wanted to befriend him was Fun. But him and Harry go off to the Diary Farm most weekends and I was treated to the royal tour of the Dairy.

Who would have thought recording the cost of MILK could be so much fun.

We will have 2 x QLD Retreats in 2012 - 27th-29th April and 25th -28th Ocotber.

Join Us at the Mt Alford Lodge, 15klm from Boonah South East Queensland, for a Weekend packed full of FUN Last weekend of April and last weekend of October.

I Need to start confirming Your attendance ASAP Please. Places are strictly limited to 12.

Cost for the weekend (April Cost $255 per person) and (October Cost based on arrival Thursday $360 although a friday arrival option is available) including all Freshly Made Food and Drinks(Including Dinner Friday evening until Sunday Lunch) , Make and Takes and Gifts during the weekend, unlimited use of all my stamps, Big shot, Ink Pads, Punches ect. Project 365 was initiated through Scrapbook Divas as a project where you would scrap a page a Day/Week/Month(You choose) and share all the little and Big things about 2012 as an album for future generations to look back on and share. I am going to make my album a little different and YOU can to. I am going to scrapbook a page a week capturing the cost of everyday living in 2012. The price of Fuel, Fruit, Food, Movies and all the other little things we enjoy to do but really don't think twice about now. Wouldn't it be wonderful for our children or grandchildren to look back and know what life was like in 2012.

As this album is for my children and about life with my children in 2012 I thought it was only fitting that my 1st week be all about them. Although taken in 2011 it really reflects all of them and there beautiful nature.

Rocky Road Recipe..YUMMMMM

Oh so easy, And definitely better than any Rocky Road you will buy.

In a big bowl put in the marshmallow's (2 x Pkt Pascals not cut just whole) about a 1/2 cup chopped unsalted peanuts, 200g glace cherries chopped in half, about 1/2 c coconut. give a mix around.

Melt in a separate bowl and I melt in the microwave 500g milk choc and 200g dark choc. melt until hot but don't burn. Pour this melted choc and mix around till the marshmallow's mix is all covered in choc. I line a big roasting tray with cling wrap and then spread it out roughly in the tin, then refrigerate till cold.

Cut and Enjoy..

Running from Mid January through to end March, there is so much on offer I just couldn't wait any longer to share it with you. I made this lovely card for someone special just to Thank them for all the wonderful things they do.

Lemon and Passion fruit Slice

This is the most simple, Easy to make and Yummy Slice Ever.

Lemon and Passion Fruit Slice:

Preheat oven to 180 degree's C

Ingredients:

BASE:

1 C SR Flour

1 C Coconut

1/2 C Caster Sugar

125g Melted Butter

Mix all BASE ingredients and spread over a lined small slice tin or square cake tin (I use baking paper). Pressing down firmly. Place in oven for approx 10 minutes while preparing topping mixture.

TOPPING:

1 Can Condensed Milk
2 Lemons Juiced
1 x Passion Fruit Pulp

Mix all TOPPING ingredients with a small whisk or spatula until they are creamy in appearance. Remove base from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes then pour topping over base and return to oven for another 5-10 minutes until set.

PLEASE be guided by your own OVEN. If your oven is Hotter than others you will only need it to set for a few minutes, if you have a slower oven like mine it takes about 9-10 minutes.

Allow to cool and cut into squares. Refrigerate to store. Enjoy.

Hershey's Kisses Cookies

As many of you will know Hersheys Kisses and Nuggets have become my new best friends so what do you do with them when you buy them buy the kilo...Cook with them...lol

Hershey's Kisses Cookies

Makes approx 48

Ingredients:

48 Hershey's Kisses or I think Easter Eggs would be a cute alternative.

3/4 C White Sugar

3/4 C Brown sugar lightly packed
100g Butter softened
2 TBS Milk
1/2 Tsp Salt

1/3 C Hershey's Cocoa (A good cocoa if Hershey's is unavailable)

2 Eggs

2 1/4 C SR Flour

Directions

1. Remove wrappers from chocolate pieces. Heat oven to 180 degree C.

2. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar in large bowl until well blended. Add eggs and milk; beat well.

3. Stir together flour, cocoa and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place baking paper lined tray.

4. Bake 10 to 11 minutes or until set. Gently press chocolate piece in center of each cookie; remove from tray to wire rack. Cool completely.

5. ENJOY.. They are yummy and very addictive.

I rarely take a card from the catalogue and copy it for use at a workshop but when a lovely customer of mine chose a card she had seen in the catalogue and wanted to make it at her workshop I was excited to think Stampin Up had done all the work for me. What a Fantastic 2011 Retreat

WOW What Fun we all had, Late nights to early mornings seen LOTS of special projects completed. From 360 degree views, to the most amazing food and LOTS of very busy and creative ladies this really was an amazing weekend.. we had some very cute little locals come to visit and who said big shotting had to be done inside. Treats were made for everyone to enjoy and Thank you to all my ladies for thier fabulous efforts in the Ronald Mc Donald House Scrap card Challenge.
